Problem Description

While attempting to create a Process Genie formula in North52, the expected custom entity is not listed in the dropdown menu. This issue can occur even after ensuring that the entity is correctly created and published in Dynamics 365.

Solution Overview

The solution to this problem is to refresh the entity list within the North52 application. This process updates North52’s cached metadata, thereby including any new or modified entities.

Steps to Refresh the Entity List:

  • Open any North52 formula within Dynamics 365
  • Click the 'N52 Commands' menu option on the command bar
  • Next click the Refresh menu item
  • Close the formula
  • Open the same formula or any formula to see the refreshed list of entities
